Landed in Kokusai Street

A quick layover in Taipei, Taiwan and we're in Okinawa, Japan. We had a couple of hours before my dad was able to pick us up, so we took the Monorail to Kokusai Street. It was so HOT outside, HUMID hot. We copied the locals and waited in the shade for the cross walk lights to turn green and went into stores just for the air conditioning. Ice cream and a tall jug of water was also a must.

I noticed some of the girls were really embracing the rocker look. Knee high boots, studded belts, long vests, short denim skirts, cheetah print, curly or teased hair, some had long fingerless gloves.
