The bags are packed, loose ends are tied and Ruka, our dog, is now with Tim's sister and her family.

Our adventure begins in North Lake Tahoe, courtesy of Uncle Danny at the Hyatt Vacation Club. A nice treat to squeeze in before we're off to foreign lands.

It is beautiful here, the water is clear, the weather warm and the amenities are plush too. Way to get our feet wet before the traveling on a budget begins.
